Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2 p.m. (OCAP screening), Thursday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m.
"Norton is spectacular, but little Lamont delivers one of those uncanny performances that doesn’t seem like acting, and makes you feel for the kid almost as much as his onscreen parent does." --Glenn Kenny, New York Times
“Joker: Folie À Deux”- (R; 2 hours, 18 minutes) - From acclaimed writer/director/producer Todd Phillips comes the much-anticipated follow-up to 2019’s Academy Award-winning “Joker,” which earned more than $1 billion at the global box office and remains the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time. The film also stars Oscar nominees Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener, alongside Zazie Beetz, reprising her role from "Joker." Based on characters from Detective Comics (DC). Plays at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11; Saturday, Oct. 12; at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 and Wednesday, Oct. 16 (OCAP screening); and at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17.
“Gaga is a compelling live-wire presence, splitting the difference between affinity and obsession, while endearingly giving Arthur a shot …” -David Rooney, Hollywood Reporter

“It is (and this is rare in American films) a work of entertainment that is yet so skillfully constructed that after many years and many viewings it has the same brittle explosiveness – and even some of the same surprise – that it had in its first run.” — Pauline Kael, New Yorker
“My National Gallery: London” – Exhibition On Screen (EOS) - The National Gallery of London is one of the world’s greatest art galleries. It is full of masterpieces, an endless resource of history, an endless source of stories. But whose stories are told? Which art has the most impact and on whom? The power of great art lies in its ability to communicate with anyone, no matter their art historical knowledge, their background, their beliefs. Each interviewee identifies the one artwork which means the most to them, with this diverse cross section of society making surprising choices of both well-known masterpieces and hidden gems. These stories are used as a lens through which to explore the 200-year history of the National Gallery and what the future may hold for this spectacular space. One show only: Saturday, Oct. 19, 2 p.m.
The EOS series has moved to Saturday afternoons and now includes a food option called “Art a la Carte.” This special ticket price of $13/members and $17/adults offers audience members wine and afternoon snacks such as cheeses, fruits, and pastries. Candy and sodas are still available at the usual cost. Film only tickets will also still be available at our regular ticket rates: $12/adult, $8/members.
