This week at Lincoln Theater
While the theater is temporarily dark on the outside, inside it is buzzing with preparations for Lincoln County Community Theater’s (LCCT) live production of “Cinderella” - rehearsals, costume fittings, set construction and painting, and lighting design are all underway!
Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” - If the shoe fits… it’s possible! LCCT’s production is a contemporary take on the classic tale. When she meets a dragon-slaying young prince who is just assuming control of his government, Ella helps to spark transformation and empower the disenfranchised in their kingdom. With the help of her fairy godmother, a pumpkin, and a little magic and humor, Ella, Prince Topher and their generous friends will inspire and delight the whole family. Featuring Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible / It’s Possible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” alongside an up-to-date, hilarious and romantic libretto.
Directed by John Mulcahy with choreography by Phaelon O’Donnell. Featuring Evelyn LaCroix as Cinderella, and Harrison Pierpan as Prince Topher, with Emily Sue Barker, Christina Belknap, W. Joseph Coté, Carole Florman, Derek Kingsley, Zora Margolis, Sophia Mansfield, Amanda Shepard, Ben Shepard, and the Royal Court CinderSingers and Slipper-Rhythmics.
