Winters Gone Farm re-opens in Wiscasset
Winters Gone owners Skip and Judi Taylor are reopening their farm store located at 245 Alna Road (Route 218) in Wiscasset.
“After two years of having a downtown retail store in Bath we are happy to be back at the farm,” said the Taylors. “I really loved my Bath shop and the many new customers and friends I made there but I missed the relaxed atmosphere at my farm store. The beautiful grounds, flower gardens and sound of the fountain in the pond sure beat the noise, hub-bub and one hour parking of busy Front Street,” Judi Taylor said.
In addition to her talent in fashion design, Taylor is an accomplished artist in the mediums of watercolor and pastels. The new Winters Gone Gallery will showcase her work as well as other Maine artists. The gallery will also encourage local artists to come paint at the farm.
Another addition at the farm is Alna Wood Creations. This shop features the work of renowned game designer and craftsman Aaron Weissblum. His designs of unique wood creations run from practical and livable pieces, to one of-a -kind flights of fancy.
Winters Gone Farm is located at 245 Alna Road (Route 218) just 2.5 miles from Route 1 in Wiscasset. The farm is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For additional information call 207-882-9191.
