Wiscasset Easter egg hunt Saturday
Fri, 04/14/2017 - 5:45pm
Wiscasset Parks and Recreation’s annual Easter egg hunt happens at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15 at the Wiscasset Middle High School track, the department’s website at wiscassetrec.com states. Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. at the track gate; cost is $3 a child. Participants, who can be as old as 11, bring their own containers for collecting eggs.
Facilities and Programs Manager Bob MacDonald said the Easter Bunny will be there. And instead of golden eggs to find this year for special prizes, this year’s eggs for special prizes look like all the others. So when a participant opens an egg for whatever treat is inside, they might get the surprise of an item to turn in for a prize, MacDonald said. The event is rain or shine.
