The next community supper to be served on Wednesday, Dec. 6 will feature pork shoulder along with soup, salad bar, potatoes, veggies, rolls and cake for dessert. December birthdays will be celebrated after this meal. Reservations for the meal must be made by noon on Monday, Dec. 4 by calling 882-8230. Chicken is always available as an alternative entree but must be specified with the meal reservation.

Upcoming meals include Wednesday, Dec. 20 chicken chasseur as the entree, and on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, the entree will be bake ziti and meatballs. The Wednesday, Jan. 17 meal will feature haddock as the entree.

Mark your calendars for the next “Lunch with Lisa” on Monday, Nov. 27 from noon-2 p.m. to meet with Wiscasset Parks and Recreation Director, Lisa Thompson. This is an interactive monthly session designed for older adults to help the Wiscasset Community Center understand how to better serve the older adults in the community. The cost for lunch is $8 for residents and $10 for non-residents. To get an accurate head count, reservations must be made by calling 882-8230. The next session will be Monday, December 18 from 12-2 pm.
