Wrong meds?
Dear Editor:
I was a patient at a local facility a year of so ago for rehab after a hospital stay. A nurse came in to give meds to the lady in the room with me. She said, “Mary (not real name) are you going to wake up and take your meds?” She repeated it again. I said, “That’s not Mary, it’s Barb (not real name).”
I wonder how many times this happens and people get the wrong meds? I reported it to a couple of nurses. Don't know if they spoke to that nurse or not?
