Dear Editor:

I am writing in support of Holly Stover for Representative to Maine House District 89 as she is a forward thinking candidate. I have met Holly in social functions and discussed education and science related topics with her. I am a retired engineer and educator so her responses to my questions made a difference.

I was educated in public schools and land grant universities, graduating with degrees in engineering and education. These institutions existed because forward thinking people realized the need for them, by realizing the strength and welfare of the nation depended on developing knowledgeable leaders through an education process. When we think of education, we are planning for the future by acting now.

Holly is that forward thinking person that supports education and science related activities for the betterment of our District to insure it’s strength, welfare, and vitality. On Election Day, remember future planning is now. I plan to vote for Holly.
