Music by Kantele Ensemble at Lincoln Home
The Lincoln Home will host the Kantele Ensemble Tuesday, April 16 at 3 p.m. The Kantele is a traditional Finnish lap-harp with a 2,000-year history rooted in the folklore of the “Kalevala,” the national epic of Finland. The Finns consider it to be one of the most important symbols of their culture. The Kantele Ensemble, led by director Celia Jones, will share the history and the music of the Kantele.
