First Congregational Church of Wiscasset and St. Philip’s Episcopal Church will hold a joint service at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Eve, Nov. 27. A freewill offering of money and non-perishable food items will be collected to benefit St. Philips’ food pantry and the Special Needs Fund. The service is open to the public and all are invited.

The public is also invited to a Thanksgiving potluck dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thanksgiving Day and hosted by First Congregational Church. A turkey will be provided as well as water, cider and coffee. Guests are asked, if possible, to bring a favorite side dish to share. RSVPs are appreciated, but not required. Call 882-7544 or see Rev.
