Alna’s nomination papers for the March town elections are due back by Monday, Jan. 20, Town Clerk Liz Brown said. The town office will be open from 5 to 6 p.m. that day to allow for this.

 

Brown said the elections are for a two-year term for first selectman, a one-year term for road commissioner and a three-year term for a school board seat. Elections are Friday, March 20. Town meeting follows on Saturday, March 21.

 

Absentee ballots will be available Feb. 19.
