Dear Editor:

To the residents of Edgecomb:

I resigned as the town tax collector last week and this happened rather quickly. It was not how I would have liked to retire. Due to the coronavirus, I can no longer serve the town of Edgecomb.

I would like you all to know that this was done for my physical as well as mental health. I appreciate you allowing me to take care of your tax needs and well as vehicle registration. It was my pleasure to serve the town in this capacity.

Thank you very much for your smiles and encouragement over the years it is much appreciated.
