Vote for Chloe Maxmin Nov. 3
Dear Editor:
I met Chloe Maxmin when she came to my door back in 2018. She was running as Representative for District 88. I invited her in, and we had a long conversation, probably too long since she had many visits to make. She spent time telling me about herself. I was extremely impressed with her empathy, energy, dedication, and youth.
Fast forward two years and Chloe is back on the campaign trail running for State Senator for District 13. However, this time it is vastly different, with the virus running rampant we are all having to be vigilant. I admire her commitment to run in this race. It is hard work with a larger area to cover, but I have faith in her ability to do what she needs to do. She was also helpful in navigating a problem a local businesswoman was having with acquiring the necessary permits for her building. She met with all concerned parties and was able to move the situation forward. She would meet local people at the coffee shop, and when the pandemic raised its ugly head, she would meet at the local ice cream shop. Always ready to help and greet her constituents.
I certainly will be voting for her this election. We desperately need the next generation to carry on with the work of taking care of the nation as it struggles with the pandemic and associated travails. Please consider voting for Chloe for State Senator on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
