Coastal Rivers to host apple cider pressing
On Saturday, Sept. 25, Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust invites groups of up to six people to bring their own apples and jugs to Coastal Rivers Salt Bay Farm, 110 Belvedere Road, Damariscotta to make sweet apple cider. Coastal Rivers will supply the old-fashioned cider press, a wash station, and instructions.
There are four half-hour slots available between 1 and 3 p.m. If all slots are filled, Coastal Rivers may schedule a second date.
This program is free of charge, thanks to member support. Registration is required at coastalrivers.org/events.
