Mountainfilm on Tour is coming back to Waldoboro for its 2nd year and bringing a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival in Telluride, Colorado. This selection of films explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission: to use the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.

The Waldo will be showing 9 films ranging in length from 3 minutes to 30 minutes. We will be showing the film "Rural Runners" with Chloe Maxmin. "Rural Runners" is a short film about finding purpose and common ground in rural America as Chloe makes a bid to be the youngest woman in the Maine house of representatives and Canyon Woodward balances his lifestyle with running rural trails and political campaigns. Chloe will be in attendance and join us for a Q&A after the screening.
This event is a fundraiser for The Waldo Theatre. All money from ticket sales will go to good use supporting our future programming. We are so grateful for the continued support of our sponsors!

Adult tickets are $15, and Youth (under the age of 17) tickets are $5 online in advance. Tickets the day of and at the door are $20 for adults. Doors open and concessions will be available for purchase starting at 5:30pm.

Free parking is available on Main Street; Friendship Street; in the 8 spaces on Glidden Street; in the Kuhn Parking lot (beside the masonic lodge on Main Street); and in the lot behind Perch and The Narrows.
