Lincoln County Republican Committee meets April 26
The April 26 meeting of the Lincoln County Republican Committee will be held at the Jefferson Fire House, 204 Waldoboro Road, Jefferson. All registered Republicans in Lincoln County are invited to attend the business meeting, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Following the business meeting, doors will open to the public at 6:45 for the speaker’s presentation at 7.
The speaker is Samuel Bridges, the newly elected vice chair of the Maine GOP. Sam is the youngest vice chair in Maine history. His interest in politics began in high school, when he was enrolled in a civics course as a sophomore. Sam credits his civics instructor with instilling in him an originalist understanding of our U.S. Constitution and the fundamental operations of government. As time went on, he became more involved in politics and was active in the LePage campaign in 2021, first as a volunteer and advancing to a field organizer. Sam has said that he feels called to be on the front lines of the spiritual and cultural war and the assault on freedom of speech.
Topics to be covered in this presentation include: Youth in Action; Social Media Outreach; Discussion Techniques; Mobilizing the Community; Widespread Field Teams; Modernizing Campaign Tactics; Remaining on the Rock and Following the Narrow Road; and Uniting the Conservative Side of the Aisle.
Again, the public is welcome to hear the presentation, beginning at 7 p.m.
