People United Against Racism is hosting an open gathering for anyone in Lincoln County interested in issues of anti-racism Tuesday May 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Friends Meetinghouse at 77 Belvedere Road in Damariscotta.  If you're interested in helping our county to feel open, welcoming, and safe to people of all races and backgrounds, you're warmly welcome to join and share your perspectives.  

We'll have some history of PUAR and then a facilitated conversation.  In 2023, what concerns are coming up?  How can we support our neighbors and friends of color, support each other in this work, build on what's already here -- or create new opportunities? 

Whether you're new to thinking about anti-racism or have a long commitment to this work, you are welcome.
