Coming soon: “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” - Receiving an 8-min standing ovation at its Cannes World Premiere, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” is delivering full-throttle entertainment in this the prequel to “Mad Max: Fury Road” (2015). In an apocalyptic society, a young Furiosa (Alyla Browne) is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great biker horde led by the warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth). Opening Friday, June 7.
Harbor Theater, 185 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor, is open for 2 p.m. matinees on Wednesday (OCAP – Open Caption Screening) and Sunday.
