Author Talk with Jerry Farnham
Southport Memorial Library welcomes author Jerry Farnham on Thursday, June 13 at 6:30 p.m. to talk about his debut novel, “Red At Night” and its sequel, “Red in the Morning!” Refreshments will be provided.
“Red At Night” takes place on the coast of Maine with a mix of summer and local people. Follow the story of Jack, a hard-working local, and Melissa, a celebrity actress and singer who comes to Boothbay Harbor to escape the despicable Hollywood press. Find out what happens when two people of vastly different backgrounds meet. And, why does a lobster boat leave the dock after the others have returned? This is a story of mystery, suspense, and romance.
Jerry grew up in Boothbay Harbor where he worked on a lobster boat with his father. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he worked as a boat diesel engine mechanic for many years. Jerry currently lives in southern Maine with wife, son, and daughter.
Southport Memorial Library is located at 1032 Hendricks Hill Road. For more information on programming and more visit www.southportlibrary.org or call 207-633-2741.
