Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 4 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 508 calls for service for the period of Aug. 6 to Aug. 13. Year to Date, LCSO has responded to 9,266 calls for service.
Summonses
Brogan Barter, 23, of Boothbay was issued a summons Aug. 6 for Operating under the Influence, which occurred in Edgecomb on 03/24/24, at the Boothbay Harbor Police Station, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Clinton J. Benner, 37, of Nobleboro was issued a summons Aug. 8 for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registry Act – 2nd Offense, on Upper East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Detective Sgt. Ronald Rollins.
Arrests
Aaron J. Delano, 49, of Damariscotta was arrested Aug. 8 for Violating a Protective Order, on Bailey Road, Alna, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Aiden G. Olsen, 19, of Boothbay was arrested Aug. 11 on a Topsham Police Department warrant for Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, Burglary and Criminal Trespass, on Marston Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Joseph Booth.
Ronnie C. Russomano, 50, of Boothbay turned himself in to Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, Aug. 11 on a Sagadahoc County warrant for Burglary, Theft and Criminal Trespass. Mr. Russomano was arrested by Deputy Caleb Poirier and was then turned over to jail staff.
Casey Jo Lucas, 35, of Boothbay was arrested Aug. 12 for Operating under the Influence, on River Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On Aug. 7, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Virginia C. Collins, 81, of Pittston and Wanda Lemar, 60, of Dresden. Ms. Lemar’s 2022 Kia Telluride was parked near the southeast corner of the parking lot at the Dresden Take Out. Ms. Collins’ 2014 Chevrolet Impala was in the front and to the left of Lemar’s vehicle when she began backing out and struck Lemar’s unoccupied vehicle on the driver’s side. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 8, an accident occurred on South Clary Road in Jefferson involving Robert E. Sommers Jr., 73, of Jefferson. Mr. Sommers was operating his 2019 Toyota RAV4 northbound when a deer ran out in front of this vehicle and was struck, causing front end damage. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 12, an accident occurred on Dock Road in Alna involving Nicholas A. Sinclair, 30, of West Gardiner. Mr. Sinclair was operating his 2018 Chevrolet Colorado northbound when he stated he fell asleep and as a result, his vehicle exited the roadway, entered the northbound ditch, before striking a telephone pole. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
