Brain Health Forum at CMBG
Dr. Allan “Chip” Teel will present a Free Brain Health Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Bosarge Family Education Center at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. The Forum will describe the BrainHealth Research Program that has been underway at the Boothbay Region Health Center in Boothbay Harbor for 4 years. The free Forum includes the opportunity to sample brain healthy food. Please register to attend this free forum in person on EventBrite.com. Or register to attend via Zoom.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear about the Boothbay Protocol developed by Dr. Teel and over 80 local patients who are suffering from, or at risk of cognitive decline. Brain scans and lab tests provide detailed diagnoses. Each patient discovers their unique causal factors and gets a personalized set of prescriptions - supplements and medications - along with support for key lifestyle changes in diet, exercise, sleep, brain games, detox, stress relief, music, volunteering, & social connections.
This Patient Participatory Program is entering its 5th year in Boothbay Harbor. Come learn how you can proactively prevent cognitive decline, remove toxins from your brain, grow new brain cells, and leverage neuro-plasticity to replace damaged functions. You’ll have the opportunity to sample heathy snacks & food provided by members of our Brain Health program so you can judge for yourself that a brain healthy diet is tasty and doable.
