The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Lighted fire truck and first responders parade, and the chili cook-off at the Meadow Mall, scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 are "still on," in spite of the predicted rain and wind. Should the schedule change, the Chamber said it would announce it by contacting the newspaper and on their Facebook site.

The parade starts at the Boothbay Fire Station, makes a stop at St. Andrews Village, then continues through town via Oak Street, turning left at the Library and down Townsend Avenue before ending at the Meadow Mall for the awards ceremony. People's Choice voting: text 207-350-5922.
