It’s Christmas time again (almost)
The Nor’easters Barbershop Chorus is gearing up again to bring Christmas Spirit in the form of music to residents of assisted living, nursing homes, and even some hospitals.
They will sing traditional Christmas songs from Thanksgiving to Christmas to as many as four or five locations each week, from locations on Brunswick Landing to Damariscotta and Boothbay.
Usually they do concerts in tuxedos, but for this series, they will be dressed in red and green, with white accents - and even an occasional white beard.
Very often, the audience sings along with the familiar songs, and some have been known to ring bells that they brought with them when the chorus sings "Jingle Bells."
In addition to these singouts, they will be there to welcome Santa with song to the Bath Gazebo when he visits the children on Nov. 30.
