The next Diabetes Support Group,on Thursday, Jan.23, will feature an open forum to answerDiabetes related questions. The discussion begins at 1p.m. at the Wellness and Rehab Center in the Webster Van Winkle Building at 79 Schooner St., MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital -Miles campus in Damariscotta. The program will also be available via Zoom. 

The Januarymeetingwill introduce new diabetes educator, Amanda Millay, RN.Amanda is also a certified foot care specialist and is going to discuss the importance of foot care with diabetes.  

The Diabetes Support Group meetings are free and open to adults living with diabetes and their families. Pre-registration is recommended due to limited seating and the need to provide a Zoom link prior to the meeting for those who cannot be there in person.
