On Friday, Feb. 28, MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital is offering a standalone class to provide information about breastfeeding. Typically, breastfeeding education is a component of a longer birth preparation class but is being offered once as a single two-hour class for patients who want breastfeeding education butcan't attend the full Childbirth Education Series. The class is open not only to new parents, but also parents who may have had difficulty breastfeeding with an earlier pregnancy.  

The class will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Watson Health Center at 24 Miles Center Way in Damariscotta. 

Pregnant patients and their support persons are welcome. Although snacks and refreshments will be provided, we encourage attendees to bring their dinner with them.
