On Sunday, April 6, at 3 p.m., Maine-ly Harmony, the women’s acapella choral group, will hold a concert in Dresden Village at St. John’s Church/Meetinghouse. The concert is free and open to all. Donations are always gratefully accepted. The address is 530 Gardiner Road, Dresden Village, and the events will be held come rain or shine.

Maine-ly Harmony has a mission of community outreach which  includes singing in retirement homes, church celebrations, town parades, Christmas tree lighting ceremonies and memorial services. The group has performed locally and as far away as Ontario and Florida.

The group’s mission perfectly matches that of the Friends of the Meetinghouse which is to bring local and regional entertainment to the area.  The venue has been described as one of the best acoustical concert venues in Maine.
