Babysitter training course
Learn the skills and techniques necessary to be a responsible, competent and fun babysitter in a one-day class offered by Central Lincoln County Adult Education on Friday, June 26.
This Red Cross course, designed for students ages 11-14, will cover such topics as: child care essentials, the proper response and handling of emergency situations, behavior management, safety for the sitter, and babysitting as a business. Students should bring a lunch and a snack. However, they should not bring any electronics or phones. A certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course.
The class will be held at Lincoln County Healthcare Education Center located at 66 Chapman Street, in Damariscotta on Friday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost of the course is $49 if you register by June 19 and $54 for all other registrations. This class fills up quickly, so register early to ensure your child’s spot in the class and to save!
