Aiden Flanagan, 3, of Wiscasset has fun Saturday at Wiscasset Ambulance Service as Emergency Medical Technician Kristin Draper conducts a safety seat inspection. Selectman Judy Flanagan turned out with her grandson for the WAS event. She said the addition of the service is fantastic. Draper and fellow EMT Anita Sprague, both newly trained to check the seats and their fit to the child, have another event planned for 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 17. Parents and caregivers can also call 882-8204 to arrange the free inspection.
