The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 158 calls for service for the period of Nov. 26 to Dec. 3. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 14,205 calls for service.
Summonses
Daniel H. Lewis, 32, of Boothbay was issued a summons Nov. 26 for Assault, on Ocean Point Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.
Percys A. Nickles, 42, of Washington was issued a summons Nov. 27 for Failure to Submit to Finger Printing, at the Kennebec County Jail, on behalf of Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Theron A. H. Jordan, 22, of Stonington was issued a summons Dec. 2 for Attaching False Plates, on Sheepscot Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Shayne M. Landry, 35, of Nobleboro was arrested Nov. 29 for Operating under the Influence – Drugs or Combo, on Atlantic Highway, Waldoboro, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Gavin J. Young, 19, of Newcastle was arrested Nov. 30 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Hopkins Hill Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Joseph Booth.
Mark A. Wyman, 68, of Boothbay was arrested Nov. 30 for Violating Condition of Release and Driving to Endanger, on Ocean Point Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
William R. Morton, 36, of Boothbay was arrested Dec. 1 for a Violation of a Protective Order and Violating Condition of Release, on Beath Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Michael J. Young, 43, of Bristol was arrested Dec. 1 for Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault; Operating under the Influence; Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct, on Benner Road, Bristol, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On Nov. 26, an accident occurred on River Road in Dresden involving Scott Marco, 53, of North Anson. Mr. Marco was operating his 2022 Chevrolet Silverado southbound when a deer crossed in front of his vehicle and was struck. Deputy Mark Fortin was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 26, an accident occurred on Waldoboro Road in Bremen involving Frances M. Papell, 68, of Bremen. Ms. Papell was operating her 2015 Toyota Camry northbound when a deer ran from the left side of the roadway and struck the driver’s side front corner of her vehicle. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 27, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving Adam B. St. Cyr, 17, of Jefferson. Mr. St. Cyr was operating his 2011 Chevrolet Silverado southbound when a deer ran out into the roadway. Mr. St. Cyr swerved to avoid the deer and as a result, he went off the roadway on the left side, struck a tree, before re-entering the roadway and pulling over further down the road. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 28, an accident occurred on State Route 129 in South Bristol involving Barbara J. Bell, 81, of Walpole. Ms. Bell was traveling northbound in her 2011 Ford Focus and was driving too fast for the road conditions, which were icy. As a result, she lost control of her vehicle and drove off the roadway to the right and into a ditch. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 28, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Avery Barter, 18, of Boothbay. Ms. Barter was entering the roundabout from Corey Lane in her 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse. As she was attempting to exit the roundabout onto Wiscasset Road (south), an unknown vehicle sideswiped her vehicle and continued southbound on Wiscasset Road. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 30, an accident occurred on Washington Road in Jefferson involving Deborah L. Johnson, 51, of Nobleboro and Evan I. Wiggins, 24, of Warren. Mr. Wiggins’ 2011 Subaru Outback was parked at the Jefferson School and was unoccupied. Ms. Johnson was pulling her 2020 Jeep Cherokee in behind Wiggins’ vehicle to park and struck it, causing reportable damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 30, an accident occurred on East River Road in Whitefield involving Hugo L. Smith, 21, of Whitefield. Mr. Smith was operating his 2020 Toyota Corolla northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. This resulted in his vehicle leaving the roadway on the right side and causing reportable damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
