Adult ed fall class preview
Fall is a great time to take a class at Boothbay Region Adult Ed. We offer a variety of classes, and we hope you'll find a class or two that interests you! Adult Ed also offers online classes through Ed2Go, and there are hundreds to choose from with topics such as business, web design, medical terminology, grant writing, languages, and many others. There is a link on our website, boothbayae.org, to view course descriptions, register, and pay online (or you can pay us directly).
If you are interested in local history we have two talks scheduled this fall: “Of Wooden Ships and Iron Men,” and author Greg Latimer will talk about “Ghosts of the Boothbay Region.”
“Learn to Tie Your Own Flies,” or the “Secrets to Improving Your Memory.” If you enjoy cooking Nathalie Gorey will be doing a French Country Cooking class. Learn more about using your digital camera, how to take great photos, or work with digital photos on your computer. Make a unique, creative felted flower pin with fiber artist Susie Stephenson, or learn about essential oils.
Browse our fall brochure for a complete list and descriptions of the classes being offered this semester.
Several technology and computer classes are also scheduled such as Basic Excel, Word 2010, and Internet Security. Learn more about your Android Tablet, or Smart Phone features. If you have an iPad or iPhone, we also have a class for you!
