Adult literacy and high school completion program offered
Do you or someone you know need help with basic math, reading, writing, or English language skills? Would you like help improving your math or writing skills for work? Are you planning to take the Accuplacer exam and need some brush-up? Are you ready to complete your high school diploma or tackle the HiSET?
Join us in one of the Central Lincoln County Adult Learning Centers where free help is available for any area adult resident who needs to work on basic math, reading and writing or English language skills. Individualized instruction for all levels and help preparing for the Accuplacer College Placement exam is offered. Find out how to complete a high school diploma through the HiSET program including the eligibility requirements, what you need to do to prepare for it and how long it might take you to complete the tests.
Welcome and orientation is Thursday, Sept. 10, at Great Salt Bay School from 6 to 8 p.m, Monday, Sept. 14 at the Central Lincoln County Adult Education Office at 767 Main Street, Damariscotta from 9 a.m. to noon, or Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Bristol Library from 9 to 11 a.m.
