Airport items up for discussion in Wiscasset tonight
Tue, 01/06/2015 - 11:15am
Two items involving Wiscasset Municipal Airport are on the agenda for Wiscasset selectmen Tuesday night. An agreement that lets Maine Yankee use the town-owned airport in case of an emergency is up renewal. And Selectmen’s Vice Chairman Ben Rines Jr. plans to discuss the airport’s future.
Reached Monday, Rines declined to elaborate on the agenda item. Tonight’s meeting at the municipal building starts at 7 p.m.
Also on the agenda are a renewal of Pub 27’s liquor license, and a $250 sponsorship of the Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner.
