If anyone in Alna wants to run for selectman, road commissioner or treasurer, they have until Feb. 2 to get their name on the ballot. Nomination papers are due by 8 p.m. Feb. 2, Town Clerk Amy Warner said.

First selectman comes with a two-year term; road commissioner and treasurer, one year. No school board or other seats are up for election March 18, Warner said.
