Ann Bradford Chase, 80, of Exeter, N.H. died July 2, 2013, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, Mass., after a period of failing health.

Born on December 30, 1932 in Hartford, Conn., she was the daughter of Herbert Bradford Jones and Kathryn Boucher Jones.

She is survived by her former husband, Robert L. Chase, her sons, Brad and David, a granddaughter, Kelsey, and two grandsons, Chris and Jon.

Ann was a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, and was a teacher before retiring to become a full-time homemaker.

Later in life she continued her involvement with education by volunteering with the UNH Marine Docent program.

Ann loved gardens, cooking, music, coffee, cats and dogs. She was a talented amateur artist and craftsperson, and for several years was a volunteer with the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen.

A private remembrance will held at a later date.
