Ann M. Fuller
Ann M. Fuller of Wiscasset unexpectedly passed away peacefully in her sleep on Aug. 11, 2019, only five days after her 56th birthday.
Born in Brunswick, Maine on Aug. 6, 1963, she was the daughter of Frank and Helen (Vinyard) Witkowski.
Ann attended local schools and graduated from Mt. Ararat High School in 1981. She proceeded to take on and excel in many different jobs, including waitressing, medical receptionist at various offices, and was most recently a gracious host at Sprague’s Lobster.
Ann always had the brightest and most contagious smile. She was always an incredibly genuine human being, and would give her all no matter what the circumstances. She was a one of a kind person who will continue to be part of her family and friends’ lives.
Ann was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Helen Witkowski.
She was an extremely loving mother to her only daughter, Rebecca Fuller; and an extraordinary grandma to her only granddaughter, Alleigh Hawkes. She was also a mother to Torrey Fuller, her step-son from her marriage to Don Fuller, and considered his kids her grandchildren also. Ann also had the honor to accept, and welcome with open arms, Justin Turner and Peyton Turner to her family as Ann proudly gave Justin permission to marry Rebecca just weeks before she passed. She was the youngest of five siblings, and is survived by John, Vicki, and Renae all of Florida, and Frank of Georgia. She is also survived by long-time friend, David Sprague, his four daughters, and their children, whom she thought of as her own.
A potluck celebration of Ann’s life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 15 at the Alna Fire Department, starting at noon. Please bring a dish to share.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Damariscotta, ME 04543. Condolences, and messages for her family, may be expressed by visiting www.StrongHancock.com
