The 15th annual Wiscasset Middle School Variety Show will be held on Wednesday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. This will be the final Wiscasset Middle School show. There will be many interesting and fun acts. Singers, dancers, musicians and cheerleaders will be performing.

Each year the proceeds collected are donated to a worthy cause. In the past, all monies collected are split between WMS families in need and other deserving causes. Families that have had fires, life threatening illnesses and other tragedies have benefited from the evenings profits. This year half of the proceeds will be split between two young people in the local community who are ill, to help pay for expenses.

One child is Derek Wilson, age 2 has leukemia and is traveling back and forth to Portland for chemotherapy treatments. The other child, Sienna Giles, age 8 is battling a serious illness and has had lengthy hospital stays in Portland. These illnesses have been great hardships for these families and any financial support will be appreciated.

Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for students, and children under 5 are free. There will be a concession stand provided by JMG which will have delicious food and snacks available.
