The Boothbay Region Art Foundation's (BRAF) Labor Day weekend event, Art at the Waterfront Park, will be held Saturday, Aug. 31 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the waterfront Whale Park on Commercial Street in Boothbay Harbor. Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 1.

Fifteen to twenty artists’ tents will be set up featuring a variet of mediums including oil, watercolor, acrylics, sculpture and photography. BRAF members will share a communal tent featuring local art, both framed and unframed.

Also featured will be examples of “art in the making,” as member artists demonstrate their skills of drawing, composition, painting and other mediums. For more information, call BRAF at 207-633-2703.
