Bicentennial Great American Picnic Aug. 22
On Saturday, Aug. 22, the Lincoln County Republican Committee will be holding a celebration of the American Bicentennial at its headquarters located at 241 Route 1, Damariscotta from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event will commemorate and honor the founding of this great country and the opportunity it has afford millions of people to prosper and live in freedom. We will join in the hope and belief that we will continue to allow and support all individuals to be all that they can be by taking personal responsibility for the common good.
The LCRC is pleased to announce that we will be joined by special guests all our Lincoln County candidates including Dr Jay Allen, Dana Dow, Holly Kopp, Jeffery Pierce, Richard Bradstreet, Jeff Hanley, Michael Lemelin, Stephanie Hawke, Merel Parise and Lowell Wallace.
The event will include a fundraising cookout (hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, etc.) The suggested donation will be $15 for adults, $30 for families (children under 12 will not be asked to donate). We will be raffling a lovely float rope floor mat and basket. There will also be fresh garden produce for a donation.
There will be the opportunity to participate in a flag wave, so attendees are encouraged to bring their flags and extras to share. We may even have some live music. We will all share our conservative ideas with one another.
