The American Red Cross will host its 12th annual Day of Remembrance on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Augusta Civic Center located at 76 Community Drive in Augusta.  The blood drive will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is a key feature of Maine’s observation of National Preparedness Month. 

All presenting donors will receive a voucher good for $60 off a set of four tires from Tire Warehouse and a chance to win two tickets to a Red Sox home game and be honored as Blood Donor of the Game.  Presenting donors will also receive a coupon good for a free round of golf redeemable at the following golf courses:  Sebasco Harbor Resort, Spring Meadows, Sable Oaks Golf Club and Lake Kezar Country Club.
