Boothbay Region Art Foundation’s current exhibit describes the word  “eclectic” in more ways than one. This members’ show, representing 124 regional artists, contains diverse styles, sizes, mediums and subject matter. Hung in the salon style, this arrangement allows an entertaining mix of color, much as found in a quilt design.

This year, the Art Foundation is marking 52 years of continuous operation as a nonprofit whose mission is to create opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy, learn from and participate in the visual arts.

Join us for the August 4 First Friday Art Tour when we will be serving refreshments from 5-7 p.m.

Located at 1 Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor, the gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.,  but on many summer evenings the door is open to “make hay while the sun shines!”
