The Maine Art Gallery will reopen for the 2013 season on May 1 with a “Member’s Only” exhibit. Art in all mediums is welcome: fiber, sculpture, photography, hand printing, paintings, ceramics. Membership is easier than ever this year as the fee has dropped to $35 with all the same benefits, plus some: your unframed works continuously shown, individual workspace, discounts on classes, workshops and demonstrations, plus a new website will be offering online submissions and judging. This will simplify travel. In addition to this convenience, there will be a new Wiscasset-wide Gallery Walk coinciding with each exhibit.

In order to participate in the “Members Only” exhibit, running May first through June 2, you need to join before May 1. You may print the membership form at www.maineartgallery.org, or email info@maineartgallery.org/. As always, your membership in this nonprofit gallery is tax deductible.
