A celebration of life and benefit dance for Robert Reed, who died Sept. 17, 2014, will be held Saturday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Waldoboro VFW Hall, 50 Mill Street, Waldoboro.

The band Bad Penny will be playing from 8:30 p.m. to midnight. There will be a silent auction and the event is open to the public. Admission is $10 per person or $15 per couple. Bring your own beverage.
