This year’s winner of the Chickadee Award with 3,542 votes is "Elizabeth, Queen of the Seas," by Lynne Cox and Brian Floca. In second place with 3,390 votes is "Ivan: The Remarkable True Story of the Shopping Mall Gorilla," by Katherine Applegate. "Dragon’s Extraordinary Egg" by Debi Gliori took third place with 2,848 votes.
