Welcome to December! The Wiscasset Public Library Children’s room is getting in the holiday spirit complete with a tree in the large bay window.
The children enjoyed listening to some seasonal choices for story hour like "Merry Christmas Curious George" by H. A. Rey and "Madeline’s Christmas" by Ludwig Bemelmans. After the stories, we used glitter and glue to decorate pine cones and felt snowflakes to add an extra festive look to our tree.
Story Hour next week will be just as festive with local author Wendy Ulmer coming by to read her new book "My Twelve Maine Christmas Days."
Story Hour is at the Wiscasset Public Library Children’s room every Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
