Christopher A. Brazee
Christopher Allyn Brazee, 50, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Boothbay on Oct. 22, 2022.
Christopher was born Sept. 3, 1972 to Gary Allyn Brazee and Terrie (McLeod) Tarsa. He grew up in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and attended local schools. His travels took him to the Midcoast of Maine where he has lived in Bath and Boothbay Harbor for over 20 years.
Chris worked as a talented and skilled carpenter. He has left his creative mark on building projects throughout Maine, Massachusetts and beyond. His love for building spread into his hobbies, creating with wood, metal and stone, or any found object that grabbed his imagination and ingenuity. He would so often make or find something that he knew someone else needed.
Chris was loyal and protective with his friends and family. He was generous, helpful, fair and kind. With Chris, giving the shirt off ones back was not just a saying, he was known to truly do so, many times. Chris had a large presence. Most would recognize his deep voice, know his big arms and hands. Within him was also a big spirit and it is that spirit we hope to carry with us, with peace.
Christopher was predeceased by his father Gary Brazee Sr., brother Gary Brazee Jr. and cousin Alan Keefe.
Christopher is survived by his mother Terrie Tarsa and husband Dick of Cheshire, Massachusetts; son Zachary Fifield-Brazee of Woolwich; daughters Korallei Fifield of Woolwich, Nichole Brazee of Bath, and Madison Dalton of Florida; brothers Brian Brazee of Pittsfield, Massachusetts and Scott Moore and wife Tina of Lee, Massachusetts; sister Sherrie Lauth and husband Daniel of Florida, Massachusetts; grandson Henry Lowell Gay of Woolwich; partner Abbey Bray of Boothbay; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Christopher to the Christopher Brazee Memorial Service Fund to assist the family with funeral expenses. Any donations can be made in person at any location of The First or by mailing to the Christopher Brazee Memorial Service Fund, c/o The First, P.O. Box 493, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538.
