Clamshell Quilters will be meeting on Monday, Oct. 14, at Faith Baptist Church, Mills Road, Newcastle, at 2 p.m. Member Judy Sala will show how to make appliquéd fabric leaves. The workshop will start at 2 p.m. If you can’t make it that early, there will still be time to learn the technique so that you can complete a similar project at home. At 5:30, we will hold a planning session to set up a calendar for 2020. Bring ideas for workshops, community service projects, etc. Since we may be sewing into the early evening, you may wish to bring a brown bag and beverage.
