Clifford pleads to sex abuse

David Clifford
David Clifford, 23, of Edgecomb pled guilty to one count of Sexual Abuse of a a Minor, Class D, and one count of Aggravated Furnishing of Scheduled Drugs. He received a sentence of two years, all but 90 days suspended, and two years’ probation.
According to an affidavit by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Ken Hatch, Clifford admitted the sexual contact to the Sheriff’s Office.
The case was continued from May 23 to June 27, when Clifford pled guilty as a result of a dispositional conference agreement. If Clifford does not meet all the requirements, he will serve the entire two years in prison, rather than the 90 days at Two Bridges Regional Jail.
