Coastal Senior College spring walk at Keyes Preserve
On Monday, April 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. naturalist Sarah Gladu, director of Education and Community Science for Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust, will guide Coastal Senior College members on a two-mile loop walk at the Keyes Preserve in Bristol. This wooded parcel stretches from Poor Farm Road down to and along the Pemaquid River. Walkers will have the opportunity to call upon naturalist Gladu’s knowledge of the Preserve in order to enjoy natural elements of the landscape and the river.
The guided walk will be followed by a picnic lunch in a lovely location. Coastal Senior College Spring Walks are free to all CSC members as a benefit of membership. Sign-up is required. Detailed directions will be sent to all registrants.
To sign up for the spring walk at Keyes Preserve or to register as a member, go to coastalseniorcollege.org. Annual membership is open to all and allows adults to register for classes in the fall, winter, and spring terms each year.
