Erik Hobson and musicians will perform in a free public concert at the Boothbay Baptist Church, 999 Wiscasset Road/Route 27, Boothbay Harbor, on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m.

Hobson is part of a band started at the church about one year ago as a ministry to teach a few kids how to play instruments and engage them in the Worship Team.

“It’s been pretty fantastic. We set a couple of goals and one of them was to put together enough music to perform a worship concert for the community and we are finally ready to present our efforts!”
