Cossette says resigning at end of school year
Longtime Wiscasset Middle High School Assistant Principal Warren Cossette told the school committee Tuesday night, he plans to resign at the end of the school year.
“At the end of the year, I love everybody more than you can ever imagine, but I will be done,” Cossette said over Zoom to the meeting in the WMHS library.
After the meeting adjourned, Interim Superintendent of Schools Robert “Bob” England Jr. told reporters he had received nothing official regarding Cossette’s statement.
Also Tuesday night, the committee approved Gina Stevens as interim WMHS principal, following Principal Charles Lomonte’s recently announced plans to resign.
