The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was directing Biscay Road traffic away from Lessner Lane in Damariscotta at midday Thursday as fire crews from multiple towns worked at the scene of a structure fire at 90 Lessner Lane.
The structure appeared to be a mobile home with a wooden add-on.
No information was immediately available from officials. A neighbor, Steve Higgins, said the home’s owner was not home at the time. According to Higgins, the homeowner had been up the road, at the farm of the homeowner’s mother.
Firefighting crews from Damariscotta, Bremen and Bristol were observed at the scene. More coverage to follow.
